The Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary (LTSS) community celebrated a record-breaking Day of Giving April 15�16, welcoming 190 donors � the most ever in LTSS Day of Giving history � and raising $24,820 in support of the seminary. 

Held in conjunction with the Sixth Annual Alumni Day, the event brought together alumni, students, faculty and supporters. Alumni Day offered opportunities for reconnection and renewed relationships, including the Yost Lecture by Vance Blackfox and the presentation of the Bedenbaugh Award to Brad Bellah. 

This year Day of Giving highlighted several key areas of support, including the New Life Fund, scholarships such as the John Benjamin Bedenbaugh Full Scholarship and the preservation of cherished traditions like the Pentecost Window. The window, a generously donated replica beautifully displayed in Russell House, serves as a symbol of the seminary enduring legacy. 

�The LTSS community is truly special. The generosity and engagement shown during this year Day of Giving were inspiring,� said Stephanie Roberts, director of annual giving. �Seeing alumni reconnect and witnessing the deep love for this seminary was both encouraging and meaningful. I am deeply grateful for this community and the way they come together to support the future of the seminary and the leaders it prepares to serve the church.� 

Together, the generosity demonstrated during this year Day of Giving strengthens LTSS mission to prepare faithful leaders for public ministry and ensures that the seminary continues to thrive for generations to come. 

Next year Alumni Day will be April 14-15.
