This funding will directly benefit nursing students by easing financial barriers and helping them pursue a career path critical to meeting regional and national health care needs.

The grant will be distributed in two installments, with the first payment in August 2025 and the second in December.

œWe are deeply grateful to the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation for this generous investment in our nursing students, said 91ΑΤΖζ President Summer McGee, Ph.D. œThese scholarships make a real and lasting difference in the lives of our students and on the health of the communities they will go on to serve.

The Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation is dedicated to supporting the education of female students across the southeastern United States, particularly in health-related fields. In keeping with the Foundation wishes, recipients of this scholarship will learn about Mrs. Whitehead life and philanthropic legacy through video resources provided by the Foundation.
